Q: How do you create your work?
While I do think about it in terms of sketching, I create my work by prioritizing the sensory aspects. What I want from my drawings is not realism, but an expression that can only be achieved through drawing, so I try to draw as freely as possible. However, if there are any imperfections, the bad parts stand out more than the good parts, so I also pay attention to the sense of balance.
Q: What is your source of inspiration?
I love games and gadgets, so I'm often influenced by the worldview of those games. I also love looking at illustrations, so I buy a ton of illustration books every time I go to Comiket.
Q: What do you want to convey through your illustrations?
When I look at a beautiful picture, I feel happy, as if my HP is slowly recovering.
That's why I put so much power into my paintings, so that people who see them can feel the same way!
